We are going to have a welcoming party and orientation training for the new members this Saturday,
September 10th. After this training, we hope that every new member have some ideas about how to set
the goal of Journey in Toastmasters career. No matter what terrible time during working, we hope
Grand could be a switch helping you to another different positive world.
Furthermore, Grand would like to be your step stone to broaden your vision through making friends
and visiting other clubs around the world.
Grand also hope every one of you may find your own style, help you to be yourself. You are unique.

Club Officer Announcement:
Club Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contest will be held on October 6. We encourage all members to prepare your humorous speech and join the contest. The winner will represent Grand to join Area H1 speech contest on Oct. 8.
It is time to pay your membership due now. Please bring it to club meeting and hand it to Jimmy Chang this week. You can also remit to Erin Ke’s bank account.
Meeting Minutes (09/01):
It is a treasure of Grand that everyone would stretch his or her hands to support the one who is not able to fill the role at the last minute. Grand really provides a mutual supportive environment. Even our loyal guest Piao-Piao used to take any assignment whenever needed. Therefore, though there were some members were not able to come, meeting was still run smoothly and ended on time.
In addition to the regular fresh fruits, our new member, Zoy, donated famous delicious Dasi dried tofu大溪滷豆乾. Grand always share happiness with each other. It's a warm family. Thank you Zoy.
Thanks to the new bride, Arlene, who shared her honey moon in UK. Jimmy Chang prepared very practical questions for new members, reinstate. The projector was well installed in advance and the three prepared speakers may use it properly.
