President’s Message
There are lots of good news tonight. We are pleased to know that Yolanda would re-instate her membership. Zoy has already become one of Grand family member. Furthermore, Roy promised to be member in Grand and would like to be one of the members of Grand Blog Committee. (I am wondering who will be our next new member ?oy)
There were seven guests coming for the meeting tonight, Dr. Tsai, Vincent, Roy, Caro, Sharen, Dan and Diu. We do hope all of you enjoy tonight's meeting and Grand would like to see you again.
No matter what you are and how old you are (above 18 years old), like the mission of toastmasters club, Grand would provide a warm and positive environment for all the people to have the same opportunity to grow and to have fun..

New member orientation will be held on September 10 at Gina’ apartment. All new members are invited to join the orientation. We want to help the new members to get familiar with Toastmasters meeting.

Club Officer Announcement:
Club Humorous Speech Contest will be held on October 6. We encourage all members to prepare your humorous speech and join the contest. The winner will represent Grand to join Area H1 speech contest on Oct. 8.
It is time to pay your membership due now. Please bring it to club meeting and hand it to Jimmy Chang this week. You can also remit to Erin Ke’s bank account.
Meeting Minutes (08/18):
Before the meeting started, the atmosphere seemed to be exhilarated. Members were busy in greeting guests, we had 7 guests today. Meeting was conducted by Jimmy Wu; you will always remember his unforgettable quotations. Angela Huang was the most funny joke master that stimulated the nerve of audience. Even the guests wanted to share their jokes. Tonight was Brian’s debut as topic master. His topics were open-ended and well arranged in sequels that gave rooms for speakers to develop.
From his experience of Haircut, Mask believes that you will finally bump into you right “designer” to make a better haircut of life. Sherry starts to worry about the disable disease due to aging (but I cannot see any trace on her). Gina wanted us to stretch our legs and follow her to the grant tour to Russia with beauty slides and full of happy memories. You will feel sorry if you miss this meeting.
