President’s Message

Many ideas just come to my mind to bring fun to Grand and make more fun. I really enjoy the photos of all smiling faces of members. I know Grand really make my kids happy, at least at that moment. Smile is the best cosmetic which also inspire me to deliver a speech about:

Magic power of Smile....敬請期待

The more I understand the mission of toastmasters club, the more I may clearly introduce people to join it. That's why I might deliver speeches about communication manual

Keep smile -

Keep positive thinking - (complaint does not change the condition, or even worse)

Being the president, like the captain of a cruise, I want to drive the cruise to a fun and bright direction..............

l Grand will move to a new venue. Starting from December 7, we will move to a new venue: Room 801 of Zhongzheng Public Assembly Hall Click to view map中正公民會館. It locates in the exit #5 of Shandao Temple Station, Taipei MRT. The meeting time will also be changed to 1st & 3rd Wednesday every month due to the availability of meeting venue. We hope that the new venue can provide club members a cozier environment and more convenient traffic with less expense. We apologize for the inconvenience it may cause to some members for the change of the meeting time & venue.

Meeting Minutes (11/03):

The meeting was a success in terms of the performance of the speakers/evaluators as well as the number of participants. We have 10 guests. The Keynote speech delivered by Mrs. Janice Chang was especially inspiring, informative and most of all touching. She reminded us the traditional values like hard-work, sacrifice and persistence are very much alive in many overseas Chinese students’ mind.
