My husband and I just came back after a long weekend in Bali. We spent 2 days in Clubmed in NusaDua, sunbathing at the beach. Then, my sister Jamie, drove us to Ubud. We stayed in a quiet beautiful villa. No sightseeing. No shopping. What matters is the happy time we two families shared. As time goes by, I cherish my family and friends more. We share memory together and we create new memory. I am happy to be a member of Grand, where I met so many friends and had great time.

Recently, the house market is no good. That explains a bit why Victor Chu doesn't show up in the meeting quite regularly. I will need to make more effort to close the same amount of deals. It's Definitely a hard time for real estate agents since the luxury tax law launched. However, it's good to see old friends in Grand.

l A special guest Janice Chang from New York will come to our meeting on November 3 and deliver a keynote speech, “A Tiger Mom’s Reflection”.
l Sherry Li won the 1st runner up in Area H1 Humorous Speech Contest & Evaluation Contest. She will represent Area H1 to join Division H contest. Please come to support her in the contest.

Club Officer Announcement 會務通告
l Division H Humorous Speech Contest & Evaluation Contest will be held on 13:30, October 22, 2011at Tatung University大同大學尚志教育館.
l Grand will move to a new venue. Starting from December 7, we will move to a new venue: Room 801 of Zhongzheng Public Assembly Hall 中正公民會館. It locates in the exit #5 of Shandao Temple Station, Taipei MRT. The meeting time will also be changed to 1st & 3rd Wednesday every month due to the availability of meeting venue. We hope that the new venue can provide club members a cozier environment and more convenient traffic with less expense. We apologize for the inconvenience it may cause to some members for the change of the meeting time & venue.
Meeting Minutes (10/20):
We had our in-house Humorous Speech Contest & Evaluation contest today. Gina got a P.A.S. – President Anxiety Syndrome and Sherry believed that she could fly. We invite Nailing Liu from Young Bankers Toastmasters Club to be the test speaker of evaluation contest. Her outstanding speech gave all contestants a great challenge. Sherry Li won championship for both humorous speech contest and evaluation contest. She will represent Grand to join the Area H1 contest. We also celebrated the Birthday for members who were born in July, August, September & October.
